Aiden's Birthday

Aiden turned 3! He (and Seth) got a great art table from Poppa and Nonna, and from us he asked for some "outdoor balls". This was great since we had bought him a guitar and when we asked him after Thanksgiving what he wanted Santa to bring him and he said a guitar, we had to scramble for a new birthday present! Next year we're not going to ask him about Santa until after his birthday so that Santa can't steal our ideas. We don't have elves to make our gifts for us.

So since his birthday was a school day, Poppa and Nonna were going to come over for dinner. But unfortunately, much like the Santa question, I asked what he wanted for dinner and he said "the restaurant with hot sauce and the brown door", which meant the Mexican restaurant that we eat at in Beaumont. So we scraped our original plans and drove to Beaumont right after school and then drove back in a driving rain right after dinner. Exhausting!
Early December had Seth walking with a guiding hand.

My attempt at a caterpillar cupcake. They were a hit but I didn't think they looked like caterpillars.

Finally!

So I'm finally posting pictures. These are just what I had already downloaded and felt I must catch up on before I could move all the pictures on my camera to the computer. There will be birthday and more Christmas eventually!

First crayon snack.

I hope the internet police don't see this one.

Our visit with Uncle Delk and Michelle at the Baumans.

I imagine this is what Jerry Lee Lewis was like as a child!

Yes, he is really pushing the wagon across the room.

This is what happens when you carve the pumpkins too early. I thought it made it look more Halloweenish!

He's a thinking robot.

Jump Again

I know I am so behind on pictures, but this video was too funny to wait until I got caught up. This went on for several minutes, until Seth laughed so hard he fell backwards and hit his head on the floor. Aiden kept jumping and quickly Seth's sobs turned back into giggles. Here's a small portion.
