This little piggy…
Seth wanted to take a picture of Eli’s feet so I made them all line up. Obviously the big boys had already been outside. It doesn’t matter that they wore shoes and socks outside because I’m sure my house isn’t that dirty.

First few days.
Theresa and Jessica both got to come up and took turns watching each others’ kids (all 6 of them). I was so excited to have friends come up and visit because in North Carolina, we did not have the awesome group that we have here. If you want to see what was going on while they were each visiting me, here is Jessica’s blog. It’s quite amusing.
Then the Poppa and Nonna brought up the boys to see their new brother.
Poppa has to have his grandchild and big hat picture.
Our new family.
Going home. Well, not exactly. I noticed the first night that he had a tongue tie. Having dealt with that with Aiden (and the pain that comes with it) I mentioned it to the lactation consultant when she came in the next day. That woman was motivated (as I have found that most lactation consultants are). She left and came back within 30 minutes or so and had us an appointment downtown with an ENT and permission from the on call pediatrician to leave early so that we could make it to their office before the closed. The nursery nurse was the only one not completely on board and told me to my face that the only reason we were getting to leave early was because my husband was a pediatrician. Since it was a holiday weekend, I didn’t care. Eli turned 1 day old in the ENT’s office. and it was a quick fix and everything is great!
Aunt Lisa and Emma came over after church on Sunday.
And even cousin Cindy happened to be in town from San Antonio and got to stop by for a couple of minutes.
It took Seth a while to warm up to Eli, but in his own time he asked to hold him, and actually seemed to enjoy his new little brother.
First bath: we warned the boys that Eli would not like his first bath and that even though he would cry a lot, that nothing was really wrong. They were very intrigued by the whole process.
I have no idea what was said in this picture to get Seth’s face like this, but I though it was funny.

For my friends who didn’t see my first two as babies
These pics are for my dear friends I have made since moving to Houston. Ya’ll have been with me through this whole pregnancy, and I thought ya’ll might like seeing Aiden and Seth as newborns since you’ll get to see Eli in real life, very very soon I hope!
AIDEN: December 1, 2006. 21 in, 6 lb. 14.5 oz.
SETH: December 14, 2008. 20.5 in, 6 lb. 1 oz.
I told ya’ll he looked like Mr. Burns. Can you believe he grew into the cutie he is now? (Don’t tell him I said that, he hears it too much from everyone else>)
Other belated but deserving pictures
Here are some other pictures that never got posted but are worth the wait.
Yes, he actually did a push up with all three kids on his back. See what the Army could do for you?
This fishing picture has become my favorite.
Except for maybe this one. Seth’s first fish.
I dare anyone to argue with me that these two aren’t related.
This is what my Willow House addiction did for the boys and a creative daddy.
Even when they say the burn ban is lifted… my dad’s tractor after he tried to put out a fire by scooping water from the pond and pouring it on the flames. Dolores and I could see the smoke as we were driving home from Beaumont. They received a visit from the Sour Lake, China, and Nome fire departments that day.
Yes, the rocket ship is made of cake, and yes my awesome husband did all of that.
My camera is now empty
I know it’s hard to believe, but I figured I’d make some room on the flash drive for our newest arrival next week (or this week if he gets motivated).
Love the boots and pj’s for Christmas at school!
A favorite Christmas present.
This was Seth’s first dentist appointment. I thought is was so cool of the hygienist to have sunglasses for the kids to keep that bright light out of his eyes.
Dolores and I went to the King Tut exhibit, very cool.
Theresa may hate me for this, but I love this picture (you little prima donna)!
Aiden loved singing in the musical at church.
Mother’s Day
