Long Lost Pictures

Yes, I’m finally updating!

Yeah, this was during the salmonella egg scare, and yes that is uncooked brownie batter.  I’m such a good mom.

“Momma” is written by Aiden just below the horizontal line.  Somewhere else is a picture of when he wrote his name, but that was during my blog hiatus.

Aiden’s first day of Preschool.

Seth loved the decor at this mini golf place for our friend Jacob’s birthday party.  Aiden actually played the golf, not well of course, but I was so proud that he followed through on every hole.

Anna took great care of Seth.

Seth’s first day of Mother’s Day Out.

These were taken at our home group bible study.  First we found Joanna pulling Seth around, then Natalie and Aiden had to have a turn.

This picture is funny because all those stickers were on my leg, and when I took them off, Seth just scowled at me.  So I put them all on his arm, and this was the look I got.

Aiden got his first driving lesson.

Tailgating at with our Sunday School.

This is the approval I got on my new rug.  They were rolling all over the place.

 CIMG1166

This is a common occurrence at our house.  Seth will find any shorts laying around and put them on his head.

First leaf piles of the season.  Seth helped by moving the leaves out of the pile, and Aiden actually helped with the bagging.

 CIMG1184

This is how I found Seth after bath one night.  I think it was still on a Disney channel show and that short with that Warehouse Mouse was on.  We don’t watch the show that he is on, but Seth absolutely loves that mouse.  I was so happy his hands were strategically placed.

Aiden’s Halloween parade at school.   Poppa and Nonna came over to see.

CIMG1189

No, they’re not related at all.  When Seth is older I’ll show him this picture so he’ll know what he’ll look like in his 60’s.

Our little spider and robot.  Seth really got the hang of trick or treating.  He wanted to go inside the first house we went to, but by the end of the night, he wouldn’t let go of his pumpkin to be put in his carseat.  Aiden hit the jackpot and we have more candy than we could possibly eat all year.

String Bean

So Seth had his 15 month visit yesterday. If you read the side bar there to the right you know we were gunning for him to make it to the 5th percentile in weight. Well...he did! 5th percentile and nothing more! We flew right past the 20lb mark and weighed in at 20lb and 4oz. Yeah, and that was after all the Cheerios in the bag and half a bottle of milk in the 50 minute wait we had because I didn't realize everyone goes to the pediatrician's office during spring break! Length wise, I thought he did awesome growing a full inch in 3 months. Somehow that dropped him from the 34th percentile to the 25th percentile. It is so great that he has the most awesome personality of any baby I've seen (well I am his mother) and everyone loves his big blue eyes, but he sure is one little short cake!

Giggle Box

Just make sure you have the volume on. This one is all about the audio. He had been doing this for 10 minutes before I got the camera out. You can see by the end he has exhausted himself!

And then there was this...

Catching up…again

We had some serious balloon fun at Everett’s birthday party!

He’s getting really good at making pancakes!

Cousin Emma got to visit while us girls went out and left Scott and Poppa to watch all 3 kids!  Go men!

 CIMG0286 CIMG0288 CIMG0290 CIMG0292

Believe it or not, this started out as just a little rug burn.  Then the thin scab rubbed off after bath one night and was replaced by this Rudolph monstrosity.  It was there for almost two weeks, and there is still a light red spot on his nose.  Singing Rudolph everyday became irresistible.

CIMG0295

Uncle Luke and Aunt Melinda came for a visit from Kansas.  It was good to see them!

CIMG0296 CIMG0298

I just couldn’t resist.  He’s our underwear boy now!  I think he needs a cape.

We had a great time playing with our friends.

We got to go to the Bauman’s again, this time to visit Uncle Randy, Aunt Ann, and Jenna and Brandon.  Jerry and Kathy, you’re wonderful to open your home to us!

This picture is cute because that’s Aiden’s shoe Seth has on.

From one big nose to another!

It’s our personal cleaning crew.  Maybe it’s time to start allowances.  Or maybe we’ll save that for when chores aren’t fun anymore.  “Brooming” is a blast!
