How Texans Go Sledding

We had our biggest snow fall yet. As you will see, displaced Texans sometimes must improvise to be able to play in the snow.

Do the Ice Shuffle

He decided he could shuffle all the way down the icy sidewalk.

Good Grief, More Snow!

Aiden always wants to pick up Seth.

Yea me!

Playing with his choo-choo train, (we LOVE magnets!)

Aiden loves to show Seth how to push up. He'll get down there with Seth and say "push-up" and then wants me and Scott to push-up with them. I guess it's a good way for us to stay in shape!

This was too cute, but while getting the picture, Aiden pushed down a little to hard with his head and made Seth cry. We're still working on the "be gentle" part of playing with Seth.

How do they sleep like that?

This picture may not look like much, but it was Aiden's first attempt at photography!

This is our Sesame Street face. I could do cartwheels in front of him and he probably wouldn't notice if one of his shows is on!

Thanks for the stickers Nonna! Yesterday he said "monkey stickers" after not having played with them since Valentines. He has a really good memory.

Sweet little hug!

He just looked so laid back reclining on the couch!

Aiden has discovered his pockets and loves to just walk around with his hands in them. He's also learning that he can put small toys in them, so I guess I'll have to start checking them before laundry!

Here's our 4 inches of snow! Of course Bear loves it, but I had to let him inside this morning anyway because I saw him trying to drink from his frozen water bowl. He'll miss the cold weather when we move but I won't!

Other cute pics

I caught Seth laughing in his sleep!

Aiden is getting really good at playing pretend. This is his camera.

And this is his mega camera that he made using Momma and Daddy's cameras.

Oh, look, now it's a phone!

We are so glad Seth is so good natured. Aiden really likes to hold Seth, but he needs a lot of help, whether he wants it or not. I was holding Seth's head up and I heard "Momma...hand...move!"

Seth Read!

Aiden decided he really wanted Seth to read one of his books. I guess Seth didn't mind.

Snow Day

It started snowing, and thankfully Scott was home, so Seth and I stayed
in the warm inside and videotaped through the window.

They made quite a few snowballs

And then Scott showed Aiden how to catch snowflakes on his tongue

And here is the start of the first snowman

Aiden really enjoyed his snowman, so much that his head finally fell off

So the final product was a single segmented "snow monster"

Our Big Helper

Aiden started bringing his blocks over to Seth...

and when he realized that Seth wasn't playing with them...

Aiden took his hand and tried to show him!

Next he wanted to help feed...

which wasn't too hard since he's always trying to put Seth's pacifier in Seth's mouth...

and then of course he has to be burped!

Happy...

Happier...

Happiest...

Oooo, too many flashes!

It's a camera...

It's a phone...

Oh yeah, it's also a calculator!

I just don't know what to say about this one!

What a good sleeper...even with Aiden playing right next to him

A little Momma time

Pucker Up!

Seth has been working on his silly faces. Very early on, he really started working those facial muscles, especially puckering up.

He really wanted off the floor at this point!

He's getting strong.

Turns out even a calculator can be a camera!

This thing is almost as big as my face!

Big yawn!

Two sleepy boys

We were singing "if you're happy and you know it clap your hands", and Aiden really wanted Seth to join in!

What is this strange hand behind my head?
